Welcome!

Welcome to my web page. First of all I would like to thank you for taking enough interest in my work to look at my webpage. Below this blog you should find some examples of my work those please keep in mind that none of them are commissions and so they are not done to the same high quality as a commission would be.

For more information on commissions then please look at the commission information page and if you have any questions then do not be afraid to contact me.

One final thing, for all members of the Bedlington Bylth District Riding Club (BBDRC) there is actually a £5 discount on all types of commissions. However I may request to see evidence to make sure you are part of the riding club, though it is unlikely please be prepared for this.

Thanks for reading

Maisie-Full Body Charcoal

This is an example of a charcoal full body portrait. Unfortunately the camera has taken away some of the tones and textures and so this image is of a lower quality then the original. The paper was also of low quality, as were the charcoal pencils, which affects the overall appearance of the image. If this had been a commission I would have used better materials and would have spent more time on this.

Max-Full Body Pencils

This is an example of a full body pencil portrait. Again the camera drained many of the colours and so the image lost much of its tones and textures. It was also drawn on low quality paper with low quality pencils, which affects the over all appearance of the image. If this had been a commission I would have spent more time on it and I would have used better materials.

Mace-Biro Head Shot

This is an example of a biro head shot. Unfortunately the camera took away many of the tones in this image so this is a much lower quality version to the original. Also the paper I used wasn’t of a very high quality considering it was just for school so for a commission I would naturally use better paper and would put more effort into the image.

Biro portraits can be done in either blue or black ink

Labrador Portrait

This is an example of what my digital portraits look like. In this particular picture though I used the actual background from the photograph as this isn’t a commission piece. So in my commissions the background may be done differently unless you request one like this.
